Gifts from the High Desert Apothecary
Celebrate the season of giving by creating a handcrafted botanical wellness gift set inspired by the beauty and traditions of the High Desert. In this festive, hands-on workshop, you'll learn how simple herbs, nourishing oils, and pure essential oils can be transformed into thoughtful gifts that encourage relaxation and everyday self-care.
We'll explore the benefits of skin-loving botanicals, discuss how to safely incorporate herbs and essential oils into body care products, and share creative ideas for packaging your handmade gifts with a personal touch.
Each participant will create a coordinated botanical wellness gift set, including a soothing herbal bath salt blend and a nourishing herbal-infused body lotion. You'll have the opportunity to personalize your creations by selecting from a variety of botanical ingredients and aromatic essential oil blends, making each gift uniquely your own.
Whether you keep your creations for yourself or share them with someone special, you'll leave with beautiful handmade gifts, recipes to recreate them at home, and the confidence to continue crafting botanical wellness products throughout the holiday season.
Participants will make:
A customized botanical bath salt blend
A nourishing herbal-infused body lotion

This class is for people who are 18 years of age or older. Childcare is not available at the community center. Please plan accordingly.
Pre-registration is required so we have enough materials on hand. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Registration will close on November 10th
Registration on or before November 1st will be $20.00 per person. Registration will be $25.00 thereafter.
Per the City of Albuquerque, if you do not have a community center pass, you will need to sign-up for one prior to participating. They are free!
